IBM recently conducted a study to determine what makes the best marketing companies stand out.
As IBM notes in the report The State of Marketing 2013, IBM’s Global Survey of Marketers: “In the U.S., $83B is lost each year due to poor customer experiences. Marketers must re-examine how to understand and engage customers, evaluate and prioritize channels, create a consistent customer experience, coordinate and deliver across the enterprise, and optimize marketing performance.”
