It is definitely what we very need. Information, database, and resources are the main elements to apply the social life. However, i think ” trend” always perplex people, when a trend is popular, more people join in or prepare attend in. For example, now the international student who are the Stem majors will get a longer 24 months opt time for staying in U.S., so more and more international students around me choose to add a second major in the Stem. Thinking about it, what will happen in the future, will be the stem still so hot in the future? Maybe No !
I remember as a senior in high school I would google “best jobs” or “highest paid jobs” as I was about to be a freshman in college with no clue of what I wanted to be when I was older. A website such as Glassdoor is useful as it is a website with real statistics and research where I can find information about jobs and such.
Lists like these are extremely useful especially for a college student like me, while best paid shouldn’t be what someone strives for only for the money, it is good to know the “best” jobs in her real. Through resources like this one can also find a job or field they might not have heard of before and with that they can look into it and potentially go into that field.
