  1. Often when I hear of people casually obtaining large amounts of wealth, it is because they finally chose to embark on an idea that they have had for a long time. I remember reading an article one time of a woman who had spent years in a homeless shelter with her children. One day she decided to go to the her local library an read books on how to get rich. Now she is currently a millionaire. These “how to” books, when employed accurately, really can improve your life. Almost makes me wonder if college was truly the best investment.

    1. Many entrepreneurs start out as employees before embarking on their “big” ideas. Those jobs typically require a college degree. And some professions mandate advanced degrees. 🙂

  2. When starting a new business, entrepreneurs need all the help they can get. Starting a new business is intimidating and when there are sources available to us, the process can start to seem a little bit easier; all of the useful tips, tricks and ideas from the author(s) are insights entrepreneurs need to hear in order to make their business more successful.

  3. I feel as though a book with thorough instructions on the steps involved in being an entrepreneur and starting your own business can actually be the difference between a successful start-up and a failure. Every entrepreneur begins with an idea, however I feel the difference between those who are successful and those who fail can often attribute their results to the steps they took with their idea. Some people claim to want millions before leaving college, however they don’t take the necessary steps required to do so. A book from this list can quite possibly be the difference between where one is and where one wants to be which I find fascinating.

  4. I think that a book is an essential part of an entrepenurers success. Books provide people with necessary information and when starting your own business, you need all the help you can get. Reading about someone else’s trial and error can help you avoid unnecessary conflicts along the way. This is helpful for anyone looking for a book because it lets them know which are top rated, saving them time in the store looking for a good book.

  5. I think these books could really help someone be an entrepreneur. When you are starting, you need all the help you can get, so the extra knowledge will be a great help. Also the books demonstrate someones failures and they always say learn from your mistakes. Even though it won’t be your mistakes, you will know how to avoid them and be more successful. Therefore I believe with these books, people can reach higher than if they didn’t have the books.

  6. This is great information to give to us college students. I have thought about starting my own business but right at this point I am not sure what to do. These books will give people great ideas on how to start. I am on Instagram and I follow like millionaire mentor and quiet a few other people. I enjoy these because these are people who came from nothing and became very successful from one idea. I think this is a great idea the only thing is it is a bit risky because people cant always afford the money that they need to put out for their company.

  7. I think book is a tool that can help entrepreneur self-reflection. In book the knowledge will give some resonances that might similar with entrepreneur’s experience. Also the example in the book could let entrepreneur combine with their real situation to think about how company is going next, and whether company needs to make changes. Not surprisingly these books can let entrepreneur are less sinuated.

  8. I feel that even though a book is great on helping you become an entrepreneur but the main point is that you need the idea. Without the idea there is no chance of you starting your own business. A book is great if your looking for different ideas on how to start up your business but without the initial idea of what you want to do, there is no business

  9. I think some of these books are must reads for entrepreneurs. People may think its easy to be an entrepreneur but its not. You have to have more than an idea, you have to have a plan and before you have a plan, is your idea even feasible? These books would help motivate and kind of guide future entrepreneurs and current ones.

  10. My long term goal is to start my own Event Planning company, I’ve already done a lot of research and have had hands on experience (of the Event Planning skills) working with a professional Event Planner during a summer internship, but the actual entrepreneurship side is the area in which I need to future research and understand if I hope to be successful. This article has provided guidelines and suggestions of books that I will add to my must read list, as well as my Christmas list.
