It is very convenient that there is a way in which potential marketers can apply these ideas from these brand strategy books. It’s also interesting to know that these types of books contributed to the rise in some very popular brand names, including Coca Cola and Nike, among others. What can also be understood is that there were and still are other motivations to the success of famous companies such as ads, logos, and campaigns, which further proves that simply reading ideas is not enough.
I’m sure reading a branding book written by extremely successful marketers would open your mind to a lot of great tricks and trips. However, I think it’s important to realize that these books won’t make you or your company as successful as coke or nike. There is a creative part of marketing that’s important in success. The fact that marketers working for well known companies have used new and exciting tactics when marketing their product is the reason they are successful. You have to come up with something new that will impress people and make them want to support your brand/product.
