With the rise of social media, the term social content was coined. Generally, it means anything someone posts or shares with others. Content marketing includes any social media content to attract and retain customers or followers.
Sprout Social highlights five types of content:
- Interactive contents
- Strongly positive content
- Visual content
- Use-generated content (UGC)
In addition, Sprout Social cites these goals.
