In 2010 among the most influential people in the world according to the Time magazine was the CEO of Google in Hong Kong, who through his messages in Twiiter and Facebook, distributed new ideas and thoughts of democracy around the world using social media. China as it becomes bigger and bigger, people would have to find a way to interact with the consumers integrating as much as platforms as possible in order to get the message to the consumers. The fact that social media have such a huge influence in the Chinese consumers it is very beneficial for the brands, as it will help them to penetrate using a different channel in the Chinese market.

Most people try to get information from their friend’s because they thought these feedback is more reliable than advertising. And the strong desire for social accepted, or accepted by the friends’ group need you have lots of things in common. This is another important reason why people searching on Weibo for tracking what friends bought. The trend of “Show-off reach” in China makes people like to show the picture of their new purchase.
