Nicola Clark of the New York Times reports that: “This month, the Dutch carrier KLM began testing a program it calls Meet and Seat, allowing ticket-holders to upload details from their Facebook or LinkedIn profiles and use the data to choose seatmates.”

I would like to see who I’m sitting next to but I use business flights to catch up on work and movies. Having the info unfortunately would force you into socializing and I wouldn’t want that.
