I google myself periodically just to see what comes up and it’s mostly just my social media profiles which I keep fairly clean. This article reminds me of a conference I went to where it was stated that an unclean social media life was not necessarily a deal breaker because some employers simply do not care to investigate candidates in that way. There were also those who did choose to investigate and for that sake alone I am very particular about what I put online.
